We are seeking ambitious procurement professionals to fill multiple vacancies within FB Procurement. We want candidates who can work closely with our businesses to help them realise the significant benefits available from improving how we procure goods and services.
We operate a business partner model, with roles based in the Divisions and Business Units (e.g. Construction, Building Products), unless they are relevant across the Group, for example Indirects. All roles are Australasia based, primarily in Auckland, New Zealand. We are seeking procurement specialists from off shore as well as within Australasia. Types of roles we are looking for
Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, Procurement Managers are responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the procurement of materials and services for Divisions (Construction, Building Products, and Residential and Land Development) and key Group categories (Freight & Transport). As a valued business partner to Divisional Chief Executives and Business Unit General Managers, you will bring international best practice experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, working in collaboration with the business.
Procurement Category Manager
Reporting a Procurement Manager, Procurement Category Managers are focused on either specific businesses (Humes, Building and Interiors, Residential, or Infrastructure) or categories of spend across the Group (CAPEX, Chemicals & Resins).
They are responsible for delivering procurement outcomes through tactical and strategic approaches, including strategy development, market engagement, sourcing / contract negotiation and supplier management. They lead / assist in the development and execution of category strategies, and undertake procurement activities including managing tenders, quotation processes and supplier management.
The FB Procurement Excellence team is responsible for establishing and maintaining key enablers for effective procurement across the Group, including robust spend data capture and analysis, a central contracts register, a repository of best practice templates, and efficient Procure to Pay processes. The following roles all report to the Procurement Excellence Manager.
The Procurement Excellence Specialist is the deputy to the Procurement Excellence Manager, and is responsible for ensuring robust Procure to Pay processes, as the key conduit between FB Procurement and FB Shared Services.
The Contracts Specialist is responsible for providing guidance and advice to FB Procurement in relation to all legal and contractual arrangements with suppliers.
Procurement Analysts are responsible for ensuring FB Procurement enablers are established and maintained to maximise information available for Fletcher Building Procurement and the wider business.
